Welcome to Retine – The Flower Family, the chrysanthemum nursery where passion for flowers and craftsmanship come to life. At our family nursery in Tuil, everything revolves around the love for the trade. Year-round, the De Jongh family, supported by a dedicated team of 15 professionals, grows the finest Chrysanthemum Altaj across our two modern production sites.
High-quality Chrysanthemum Altaj
With a total production area of 58.000 m², we produce over 16 million top-quality flower stems annually. Our specialty, the Chrysanthemum Altaj, is renowned for its powerful appearance and long vase life.
Sustainable flower cultivation
At Retine, quality and sustainability go hand in hand. We grow our cut flowers with respect for nature. This means we work as organically as possible, using minimal chemical corrections. Our goal is simple: providing honest flowers that truly make our customers happy.
Retine The Flower Family
The story of Retine nursery is a true love story. It all started in 1979 with a young couple in love - Dineke and Jan Willem de Jongh. Jan Willem wanted to be a truck driver but Dineke didn’t want a man who was always away. On the advice of Dineke, whose family was in the flower business, they decided to start a flower nursery together. This was the beginning of Retine The Flower Family.

Chrysanthemums are sold at Retine Nursery through three auctions: FloraHolland Naaldwijk, FloraHolland Aalsmeer and FloraHolland Rijnsburg. It is also possible to buy flowers directly.
